Adding and editing participants for Blend Signing Room (BSR)

Learn how notaries can add participants and edit a participant's information in Blend Siginng Room.

Adding a participant to BSR

When a loan is assigned to a notary for tagging, follow the steps below to add a participant. Participants can be witnesses, Non-borrowing owners (NBO), or lender requests. 

  1. Go to Notarizations.

  2. Click the loan to go to the loan dashboard.

  3. Go to the Participants tab, and then click Add new participant.

  4. Fill in the participant's information.

  5. Under Signature, you can include additional languages, roles, middle initials, prefixes, or suffixes.

  6. Check "This participant must answer security questions" for participants are required to sign documents.

  7. Click Save and send email to finish.

 

Editing a participant to sign as another role

If the participant will be signing as another role, such as trustee, 

  1. Go to the Participants tab and click Edit details.

  2. Click +Add additional role and signature.

  3. Select the additional role from the menu.

  4. Add the role to the signature (e.g., Alice Firstimer, Trustee).

  5. Click Save.
