Using the Disclosures and Closing Tab in Lender Workspace

Modified on Fri, 19 Sep at 10:43 AM

Blend has added functionality in the Disclosures and Closing tab in the lender workspace, which will give the loan team visibility into: details of the closing, provide progress updates as well as offer the ability to complete certain close tasks.

Disclosures

The disclosures section provides status updates from Initial Disclosures to Closing. The loan team will be able to see status updates on the Review task, eSign ahead documents as well as the eNote task, where applicable.

Closing Details

There are several subsections within Closing Details.

Remote online notarization (RON) eligibility

Once the subject property address has been populated within Blend, your team will be able to see the RON eligibility. More details can be found in Understanding Remote Online Notarization (RON) Eligibility.

Closing Info

The Closing info section details the closing type, closing date and eSign and eNote signing window when these details are updated and where applicable.

Parties to Transaction

This section will include all parties included as part of the closing. If an additional Settlement Agent needs to be added to closing, a Settlement Agent can be added by clicking Additional Party, which will add another role, as shown below. Then click Save at the bottom of the screen.

Closing Documents

The list of documents that are within the closing package are displayed in this section. Please refer to the Documents tab in order to see additional signing details for each closing document.

Special Instructions

Special instruction are available specifically for RON closings and details will appear here if any information was included from Encompass.

Download Full eSign and Wet Sign Packages

Under the Closing Documents Section shown listed above, you can now download the full package for eSign and Wet Sign documents.

If you scroll down to this section, you will find a "Download" button.

Click on the button and you will open a pop up that looks like the screenshot below.

You can then select the option to download the entire package for either the eSign or the Wet Sign package.
