Why does borrower sync break?
Borrower sync breaks when there is a mismatch of borrower information between Blend and Encompass. A break in the sync will impact the following functionality:
- Borrower data and eConsent sync
- Issuing disclosures
- Loan status sync
- Importing documents
Making too many changes to the following parameters will break the sync:
- First name
- Middle Initial
- Last name
- Email address
- Date of birth (DOB)
- Social Security number (SSN)
- Borrower positions
Encompass
- Open the loan in Encompass.
- Go to the Borrower Summary - Origination form.
- Verify the borrower(s) first name, middle initial, last name, email address, DOB, SSN, and borrower position.

Blend
- Open the loan in Blend.
- Go to Borrower information.
- Verify the borrower(s) first name, middle initial, last name, email address, DOB, SSN, and borrower position.
If there is any mismatched information, please make the corrections in Encompass, save the loan and proceed to repair the integration.
Steps to Re-Sync
- In Encompass, click the B button.
- Click Repair Integration.
- Save the loan
If Repair Integration does not work, try to Reset Hash (steps below)
Why do I need to reset hash?
Reset Hash resolves authentication errors after correcting borrower information in Encompass to match what's in Blend to repair borrower sync.
Steps to reset hash
- Go to Forms in the Encompass file.
- Open the Blend Integration form.
- Locate the Blend Plugin Fields section in the bottom right corner of the form.
- Click Reset Hash.
- Save the loan file in Encompass.
