How to Redraw a closing package (EPC)

In this article, we'll cover how to redraw a closing package in Encompass(EPC) and send it to Blend.

You must redraw a closing package in Encompass if any of the following information changes:

Closing date
Any update to borrower information (i.e email address)
CD information changes
Settlement Agent changes
Non-borrowing owner (NBO) needs to be added
Updates to an NBO
If the information on the documents has changed and needs to be replaced

To redraw a closing package in Encompass(EPC)

Open the Encompass file.
Navigate to the Order Doc Preparation service
Select Blend as the partner and click Submit
Click cancel closing to cancel the existing closing package and confirm
After cancelling the existing package, Configure your closing information:
• Closing Type (Traditional, Hybrid, RON)
• eNote/Paper Note
• Closing Date
• eSign Window (Hybrid/RON closings)
• Additional Settlement Agents/Title Agent (in addition to the Settlement Agent entered into the File Contacts of Encompass)
• Special Instructions for the Settlement Agent
Click Save changes
a. If eNote was selected, one will be generated automatically
b. If a previous eNote existed, you will be prompted to:
- Generate a new one (required if closing/borrower information has changed) or
- Use the previous copy (if closing date/information as well as borrower informationremains the same)
You will be redirected back to the Overview page and a confirmation will display at the top of the page
Navigate to the RegZ - CD form in Encompass
Select eClose in the top right
A new screen will pop up. Click on Configure Closing Type and choose Blend as the designation, then Update
Enter the Settlement Agent information and hit Next
A Loan Audit will be performed. Once complete you can make any necessary corrections and hit Next
The closing documents will be generated. Once complete you can view the list of documents as well as the stacking template that is being used. From this screen you can add documents to the eFolder, add additional closing documents that are not included in the Stacking Template, as well as see form failure reports. On this screen, you should also double-check that the closing will be sent to Blend (above the Stacking Template).
Hit Next to view the list of signers and parties to the transaction. Click Send to Partner once you are ready to submit the closing package to Blend
A loading screen will appear while the documents are being submitted. Once complete, you will see a Success screen.
