A final closing package can be ordered via Encompass. Note that your organization's Encompass view may be different; if applicable, please reach out to your Encompass administrator or supervisor for process clarification.

Ordering a Closing Package Through the Blend Plugin
Open the loan in Encompass and follow the steps below:
1. Go to Forms, then RegZ - CD.
2. Click Order Docs in the top right.
3. The Closing Docs Audit Screen will appear. After reviewing the Closing Docs Audit, click Order Docs in the top right.
Note: If the Order Docs button is grayed out, please review any required fields and then click Refresh Audit in order to then click Order Docs.
4. Select the documents needed from the list and then click Send.
5. Proceed to the following section to confirm the closing details.
Confirming the Closing Details
Confirm the closing details in the eClosing Management window.
Closing Status
This area will show you the current status of the closing:
- Draft - The closing package is not active and has not been sent to Blend.
- Sent - The closing package has been provided to Blend and has not been released for signature.
- Sent Day Of - The closing package has been provided to Blend and has been released for signature.
- Completed - All documents have been completed.
⚠️ All edits must be made to a loan while it is in Draft. Any edits made while the loan is in an alternate status may not be properly translated to Blend.
Closing Date
Select the date that the loan will be closing.
Closing Type
Select what the closing type will be (RON, Hybrid, or Traditional) and specify whether the closing package
Note Signing Type
Select whether the closing package will contain an eNote (electronically signed) or Paper (signed on closing day with the Wet-Signed documents).
Closing Package Type
Select Pre-Closing document package (not viewable by borrowers) or a Closing Package (that will be signed on closing day) to specify whether the package contains preliminary or final closing documents.
Contacts
Use this section to enter the Settlement Agent and Closer information. Ensure that you have entered 60-characters or less into the Contact Name section as well as a proper email address (no extra spaces entered into the textbox) to ensure that there are no errors sending the package. The Settlement Agent and Closer information will be pre-filled if already entered into the File Contacts.
⚠️ Note - A Settlement Agent must be entered here in order for the closing package to be sent to Blend. Sending a package to Blend without a Settlement Agent will result in an error.
